The problem
Bayoma makes fridges, washing machines and TVs and sells them wholesale. The old website was a retail catalogue with prices. Inside the factory, nobody could see current stock, defects weren't tracked, and parts used in production weren't deducted from stock automatically.
What I built
- A new version of the website. Built for wholesale: "request a price" instead of prices, a request list instead of a cart, ordering via Telegram. 12 pages, three languages and an admin panel for editing products in all three. I rewrote the API in Django with spam protection, phone number checks and a limit of 20 requests per hour.
- Warehouse and production system. Goods receipt at the Central Bank rate with import costs split across items, multi-level bills of materials, quality control (the cost of defects is added to good units), serial numbers with QR labels, debts, warranty returns and a director dashboard. It keeps working without internet and syncs later.
- Staff bot. GPS check-in, tasks with photo proof, ratings from department heads and monthly KPI.
Note: the first version of bayoma.uz was built by another developer. I rewrote the site and the API from scratch.
Result
The warehouse system has 21 modules and 12 Excel reports. I also prepared 6 training decks for staff. The client is testing the system now.
